EUROPHILE

User Agreement

1. Contracting party

This agreement is between you and Stockholm IT Academi AB, Org.nr: 559337-9141, Stockholm, Sweden. EUROPHILE is the service name. Contact us at hello@europhile.io.

2. Accepting this agreement

You accept this agreement when you click Agree & Join, submit an early-access request, accept an invitation or otherwise use EUROPHILE. If you use EUROPHILE for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled, and the Cookie Policy explains the technologies used on the website.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old. A person under 18 must have any permission required by the law where they live.
  • You must be legally able to enter this agreement and must not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law.
  • You must provide accurate information and submit a request only for yourself or an organisation you are authorised to represent.

4. Early access and invitations

  • An early-access request records your interest. It does not create a member account or guarantee an invitation.
  • The early-access request does not require or create a password.
  • Invitations may be issued gradually based on service readiness, capacity, geography, participant balance and the Study, Work or Business paths being opened.
  • Joining the early-access list is free. Future paid features will be presented with separate pricing and terms before any charge is made.
  • Invitations are personal unless we clearly state otherwise. You must not sell, transfer or misuse an invitation.
  • You may ask us to remove your early-access request by contacting hello@europhile.io.

5. What EUROPHILE is

EUROPHILE is being built as a European network that helps people and organisations discover opportunities, build trusted profiles, create communities, form partnerships, share knowledge and work across borders. The service may connect people, companies, universities, cities and municipalities around Study, Work and Business paths.

6. What EUROPHILE does not guarantee

EUROPHILE does not guarantee university admission, employment, a professional licence, funding, investment, a commercial relationship, housing, immigration status, a visa or permission to enter or remain in any country. Decisions are made by independent universities, employers, authorities, investors and other organisations.

7. Information is not professional advice

Content and recommendations are general information. They are not legal, immigration, education, employment, recruitment, tax, financial, medical or investment advice. Requirements can change and may depend on your circumstances. Check official sources and obtain qualified professional advice before making an important decision.

8. Your responsibilities

  • Use EUROPHILE lawfully, honestly and respectfully.
  • Keep information accurate and update it when it becomes materially incorrect.
  • Assess opportunities, people and organisations independently before relying on them.
  • Protect any future account credentials and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.
  • Respect privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property and the rights of others.
  • Comply with immigration, employment, education, consumer, competition, sanctions and other laws that apply to your activities.

9. Prohibited conduct

  • Do not create a false identity, impersonate another person or misrepresent an organisation, qualification, opportunity or relationship.
  • Do not submit unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, exploitative or harmful material.
  • Do not scrape, harvest, spam, phish, distribute malware or use automated systems without our written permission.
  • Do not bypass rate limits, security controls, invitation restrictions or access permissions.
  • Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, probe or attempt unauthorised access to the service or its data.
  • Do not use EUROPHILE to facilitate trafficking, illegal recruitment, fraud, sanctions evasion or any activity that could put people at risk.

10. Member and organisation content

Future members and organisations may be able to publish profiles, opportunities, posts or other material. You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content, you grant Stockholm IT Academi AB a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, format, display and distribute it only as needed to operate, secure and improve EUROPHILE. You must have the rights needed to grant that licence. Detailed content rules may be added before publishing features open.

11. Trust, verification and moderation

EUROPHILE may offer verification signals or moderation, but a badge, profile or listing is not a guarantee of identity, quality, legality or outcome. We may review, limit, remove or preserve content and activity where reasonably needed to enforce this agreement, protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law.

12. Third-party services and links

EUROPHILE may link to universities, employers, public authorities, service providers and other independent parties. Their services, content and decisions are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for a third party merely because EUROPHILE links to or displays information about it.

13. AI-assisted features

EUROPHILE may introduce search, translation, summaries or recommendations assisted by artificial intelligence. Outputs may be incomplete or wrong and must not be treated as verified facts or professional advice. Important requirements should always be checked against official and current sources.

14. Our intellectual property

EUROPHILE branding, logos, design, software, databases, illustrations and original content belong to Stockholm IT Academi AB or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a limited, personal, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service as intended. No other right is granted. You may not copy, sell, licence or present EUROPHILE or its assets as your own.

15. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment. This does not transfer ownership of material that you identify as confidential or that is protected by a separate written agreement.

16. Availability and changes

EUROPHILE is in development. Features may be tested, changed, paused or removed. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may update this agreement when the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way and will apply from the stated effective date.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using EUROPHILE at any time. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, prolonged inactivity, non-payment of a future paid service or a serious or repeated breach. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. Provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.

18. Responsibility and liability

Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Subject to mandatory law, EUROPHILE is provided on an as-available basis. We are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, decisions made by independent third parties or loss caused by information you knew or should reasonably have known required independent verification. For business users, our total liability connected with the free early-access service is limited to SEK 1,000. Consumer rights available under mandatory law are not limited.

19. Governing law and disputes

Swedish law governs this agreement, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Contact hello@europhile.io first so we can try to resolve a concern. A dispute may be brought before the competent Swedish courts or another court available under mandatory law. Consumers in Sweden may also contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes, ARN, where its requirements are met.

20. General terms and contact

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent, but we may transfer it as part of a genuine reorganisation or sale while preserving applicable rights. This agreement, together with documents it expressly incorporates, is the agreement for the current service. Questions can be sent to hello@europhile.io.
